Oxford Gift Card PLUS FAQs

Oxford Gift Card PLUS is a prepaid or “stored value” card that can be used to purchase merchandise and services from participating merchants within any one of the Oxford Properties Shopping Centres and Urban Retail Centres. Unlike a store gift card or certificate, which will be accepted only by the retailer that it is issued at, Oxford Gift Card PLUS is accepted at thousands of stores, at 7 Oxford shopping centres across Canada. With Oxford Gift Card PLUS cardholders enjoy no monthly maintenance fees, no hidden deductions or expiration of funds.

None. There are no additional fees after purchase, no customer service fees as well as no monthly maintenance fees – as a result, once you have purchased an Oxford Gift Card PLUS card, the funds will remain on the card until they are used.

*Please note that retailers do not have access to see the remaining balance on your card.

No, Oxford Gift Card funds do not expire. However, over time the plastic and magnetic stripe do expire, and you will need to obtain a replacement to transact with any remaining funds on the card. If you exceed the expiration date on the back of the card, please call the number on the back of the card for instructions on how to receive a replacement card.

Oxford Gift Cards are non-refundable.

Be sure to keep your Oxford Gift Card PLUS in case you need to return merchandise for credit. If a credit is issued to the cardholder, the credit may not be added to the available funds for up to seven business days depending on the process followed by the vendor. Check your balance regularly to determine when your card has been credited for the return.

You can purchase an Oxford Gift Card PLUS card in any dollar amount you choose from a minimum load amount of $10 up to a maximum load amount of $1,000.

Unfortunately, we are unable to combine cards.

Our daily maximum purchase limit per customer transaction is $2,500 (Jan-Oct) and during peak season $5,000 (Nov-Dec). For assistance, please contact your local shopping Centre Guest Experience Team or email [email protected] for further details.

At this time there are no promotions or tiered discounts scheduled for our gift cards.

Oxford Gift Card PLUS makes a terrific gift for a promotion, giveaway, or just to say thank you to your valued employees and clients.

Corporate transactions over the maximum daily limit $2,500 (Jan-Oct) and during peak season $5,000 (Nov-Dec) are subject to a KYB “Know Your Business Client” review and pre-approval. More details available upon request.

An Oxford eGift Card can be purchased online for yourself or as a gift for someone special. The digital code holds a set value that can then be redeemed at any one of our Oxford shopping centers or Oxford urban retail/office towers for an Oxford Gift Card PLUS (physical gift card) which can then be used in most retailers across our shopping centers/ Oxford office towers.

An Oxford eGift Card must first be redeemed in an Oxford shopping centre/ Oxford office tower for a physical gift card to make a purchase at an Oxford retailer. The Oxford eGift Card can be redeemed at Guest Services or at one of our Gift Card kiosks. You can print out your Oxford eGift Card or bring it on your mobile device to have it converted into a physical card.

No. Oxford eGift Cards need to be redeemed for a physical card first at 1. Guest Services in mall or 2. On our Gift Card Kiosks in one of our Oxford shopping centers or Oxford office towers.

You can redeem up to a daily maximum of $5,000 in eGift cards.

Yes, you can. Special occasions become even more memorable when you type a personal note and upload a photo or video to accompany your Oxford eGift Card.

Group gifting is just like “chipping in”—sharing the cost of a gift with friends or family instead of paying for the entire gift yourself. Collected contributions are pooled together and the gift recipient receives an Oxford eGift Card for the total value of all contributions.

All of this can be done by logging into your Group Gift Account and navigating to the Group Gift Management page. You can invite people through email, text, social media or via a sharable link. A link to access this page is included in each reminder email.

Purchase Oxford Gift Cards in bulk for your business or organization online. Once you apply for an online B2B corporate account, we will notify you if you are approved. You will then have access to place bulk orders. We have various ordering options to best suit your needs, plus you can select between eGift Cards or physical cards.

*Please note: All EFT and wire transfer payments are subject to a 5 to 7 business day hold or until the gift card analysts have confirmed receipt of payment before the gift cards are released to ensure the funds have cleared the bank.

If your card is lost or stolen, you will need to present a copy of the purchase or gift card receipt in order to receive a replacement for the remaining balance on the card.
